Captain Mark Phillips, England

Mark is Course Designer for The Event at Rebecca Farm. He is a world-class competitor, bringing home team Gold and Silver Medals from the Olympics and winning Badminton four times and Burghley once. Captain Phillips trained the Spanish and British Olympic Teams for Barcelona in 1992. He assumed his USET post as Chef d'Equipe and Technical Advisor for Three-Day Eventing in March 1993. Since then, American three-day riders have regained their position of international prominence, with wins at Punchestown, Burghley, Badminton, the British Horse Championships, and medal winning performances at the 1994, 1998 and 2002 World Equestrian Games, 1995, 1999 and 2003 Pan American Games and the 1996 and 2000 Olympics Games. Their last achievement was team bronze and individual silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
