Eric Swinebroad, Texas

Eric graduated with a biology major from Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland.  He pursued graduate studies and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in June 1987.  Eric has licensed in California, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, and Vermont.  From 2000 to 2003, he completed his residency in large animal internal medicine at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and became ACVIM certified in July 2003.  In 1996, Eric was selected to be one of 40 veterinarians to attend the 1996 summer Olympic Games in Conyers, GA.  He has also spent time as a show veterinarian throughout the United States and Great Britain.  Over the past eighteen years, Eric has worked as a veterinarian in various states, completed equine research for Texas A&M and the UNOCAL Corporation, and has seven publications, three of which were published in PULSE magazine.  Since 2000, he started teaching at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine where he still teaches today.
